We're sitting at a gas station in Lithuania, near Kaunas.
We drove along the coast, from Liepāja to Palanga and Klaipėda. There's a terrible downpour, you literally can't see a thing until the wiper swipes, and a moment later, nothing again. Sometimes the rain slows down or even almost stops, but the next moment it starts pounding with renewed force. We called home to Daugavpils, it's the same there. In Liepāja there's almost no rain.
The Klaipėda-Kaunas highway is just excellent, the speed limit is 130, which means you can do 140, and if you're not afraid of the cops, even 180. But in weather like this, it's a bit scary to exceed even 100.
