We live as long as we fly

Cities

I finally got around to taking a close look at where ears_of_tin lives. Turned out — in the city of Perm. Lately, Russian cities have been catching my interest in general — I barely studied Russian geography back in school, after all. According to the Yandex.Cities internet rating, Perm easily trounces Murmansk, where murmanskdays lives. That's no surprise — over a million people live in Perm, meaning it's bigger than Riga, and that's nothing to sneeze at. And Murmansk has just over three hundred thousand, which is three times bigger than my native Liepaja and Daugavpils, but three times smaller than Riga. We'll skip the sheer might of bitter_berry's Novosibirsk as unfathomable. I'm not considering foreign countries per the rules of the experiment, and we'll categorize St. Petersburg and Moscow as foreign.
