Soup

Mom went to Croatia to sunbathe, and I fed Dad and myself. I cooked all sorts of food every single day. Spiral pasta and spaghetti, long-grain and short-grain rice, crab stick salad, chocolate-coated curd snacks, hot sandwiches with melted cheese, peach, lingonberry, and bran yogurts, chicken legs with French fries and regular fried potatoes, “Matjes” herring or sprats with boiled potatoes, chocolate, honey, and caramel oat cereal with milk, cucumber-and-tomato salads with olive oil, cabbage-and-carrot salads with mayonnaise, Polish “Champion” apples and grapefruits left over from ages ago, pearl barley with fried sausage, pickled and fresh cucumbers, sauerkraut, dry-cured sausage in sandwiches and bologna too, sweet-and-sour bread, “brick” bread, white “Zolottse” or “Cinderella” bread, and dark rye bread, and I even made soup—first rice soup, then noodle soup, then shchi, and today I made BORSCHT in a huge pot with 7 servings!
That’s how cool I am!
