Tooth

I just had my wisdom tooth pulled at the city dental clinic (a public one). My tooth had been hurting periodically, and for the last few days it was aching unbearably. The doctor said I have big teeth, so the wisdom tooth had nowhere to grow, and had to be pulled. The clinic is new, beautiful, and sparkling clean. Patients are called over the intercom, and they shoot you up with an elephant's dose of painkillers. The visitors are polite and beautifully dressed, the staff is glamorous too, and they work very fast. I spent 10 minutes. Our healthcare is supposedly free, so I only paid a $6 fee. Only crazy grannies don't get that $6 is truly free compared to an American $1000.
Say what you will, my dear Latvia still rules for now.
