I like the new Roots album, unlike Ghostface Killah. Apparently I have a lifelong allergy to classic commercial hip-hop.
By the way, DJ Shadow did something clever on his new album—half the tracks are acoustic songs. Judging by the intro, it’s all terribly conceptual and overproduced, so I’d have to read the lyrics, which of course I have no time for.
