We live as long as we fly

The Move

What follows is such a boring daily life update that it makes your jaw cramp, so you're better off not reading it.

I moved. Spent the entire weekend washing, fixing things up, and getting everything into decent shape. Luckily, to the right of my building there's a store called “I000 sīkumi”, meaning “A Thousand Devils' Odds and Ends”. The first digit in the name is written exactly as I typed it.

The internet works pretty well in this apartment, and the audio speakers are finally positioned the way they should be. I also bought a pre-made pizza and tested how the oven works. So-so – either the thermometer inside is lying, or it doesn't heat up to the supposed 250 degrees. And the pizza isn't baking properly either. (By the way, instead of the word “baking”, my hands typed “booting”).

Then I sold out to the capitalist pigs and got a “Maxima” loyalty card, because there are no other decent stores nearby.

Didn't make it to the Ukrainian restaurant because my new glasses aren't ready yet; hopefully I'll get all that done on Monday.

So it's livable, but you can hear the trams out the window, even though they pass by 100 meters away from me.
