We live as long as we fly

Shoulder

I injured my shoulder on January 15 when I slipped and fell. It still hurts, and yesterday it hurt badly (perhaps because of the change in weather).

I went to a surgeon but learned nothing useful. They prescribed some treatments. I’ll probably see a physiotherapist now.

All in all, things aren’t going well. I have no idea how I’m supposed to go swimming or exercise now. I can’t even play Wii anymore. One good thing is that I’ve temporarily got a proper chair at work: my arm doesn’t hang down but rests on the armrest. I hope that helps at least a little.

Life is unpredictable: I went to the gym for several years and never suffered a single injury. Then I fell once—and now I’ve got problems for at least several months, apparently. Hopefully they’ll be resolved by the time I travel to Turkey.

Take care of yourselves.
