I've already written about the "Mežakaķis" park, so this time it'll be mostly pics. Long story short: getting through all the trails last time was crazy hard for me, and I skipped half the obstacles on the black one. And when I finished, I could barely walk. This time around I skipped only one; near the end it wasn't exactly easy, but totally bearable. And a couple hours after the fun was over, I didn't feel particularly tired, I could've gone climbing again.
Next time I'm thinking of doing the "white" trail at the end instead of the black one, it's supposed to be even harder. And, of course, I'm not gonna skip a single attraction.
This is where the park begins
Picking up our gear
The girls are checking us in
A model for those who don't yet realize what they're in for
These are the idle nature lovers
And these are the hardcore vine conquerors
There's also a cafe in Mežakaķis
A neat wooden signpost
Getting ready
Listening carefully to the briefing
Training trail
Training
So we don't fall off the real one
The day is in full swing
You have to stay focused
Training's over, next up is the green trail
It's all easy here, you can relax for now
Comfortable, like in a hammock
Up we go
Not so low anymore
But it's still easy for now
I'm mostly in the background
And overhead - people
It's not that simple
Everyone enjoys active recreation
They even stick their tongues out from happiness
But balancing isn't easy
Waaaaah!
This, comrades, is a torture machine
The rescuer waiting for newbies
So there you have it
No time to get bored
Myself, finally
The most fun part is zipping down the cables
One good photo came out (not mine)
Or actually, two
Or maybe even three
A green summer
High up
And not quite so easy anymore
