I'm reading the encyclopedia from Avanta+, the volume on "religions." After this, how can anyone fail to understand that religions drag all sorts of things from one another—it's nothing but copy-pasting.

How can anyone then take the so-called technical content of religions seriously (let's leave the philosophical content aside for now)

In the languages of other Semitic peoples, this name sounded like El, Elim, Elohim, Ilum, Allah and served as a general term for a god, while among Jews and Arabs it denoted the one God.
