People know that I love tea, so they give me flavored tea from the supermarket, or simply Indian tea (far from the worst option)
It often happens that people hear someone is interested in something and try to please them by giving them something related to their hobby. But if the person is seriously into it, they may be hard to please, because what seems suitable to you may be low-quality crap to them. Don’t fall into that trap: if you’re going to give something specialized, ask someone knowledgeable.
P.S. If you want some decent tea in Daugavpils, visit the tea shop at 10 Valdemāra Street, or at least buy some unflavored oolong at Rimi.
