Politics again! Couldn't resist!
A piece of news caught my eye about the rulings in Latvia on cases of glorifying Russian aggression. So far, all the sentences are suspended.
This goes out to the folks who love to say that we've got a pseudo-democracy here, and we're no different from the RF. Here you go, at least in this. In Russia, both in-person and in absentia! sentences are 3-5-8-10 years, with dozens, if not hundreds, of cases already.
And that's even if you don't take into account that in the RF, sentences were often handed down literally just for stating known facts about Russian war crimes, where there were a ton of videos and photos. While over here, it's for calling Ukrainians fascists who deserve to die, and for supporting the invasion.
