Man Arrested for Shooting His Lawn Mower

Wisconsin police arrested a 56-year-old man after he shot his lawn mower with a shotgun.

Keith Walendowski, who lives in Milwaukee, has been charged with disorderly conduct. If convicted, he faces an $11,000 fine or six and a half years in prison.

Police officers who arrived at Walendowski's home after neighbors complained said the man objected to being detained. «It's my yard, my lawn mower, and I can shoot it whenever I want», — Walendowski said.

That's life in the USA—you can't even shoot your own lawn mower anymore. Nothing but totalitarianism and snitching neighbors.

USA — 26, Arrival in Wisconsin Dells and Lake Delton

Long story short, we ended up in Wisconsin Dells, literally meaning "Wisconsin ravines," though for some reason I always thought it was "hills". WD is a town not far from Madison, with a population of two thousand heads. Its surrounding area, informally called the Dells by Americans, gets five million tourists a year. My sister used to live there and worked at the largest American water park — Noah's Ark. In general, the Dells has 21 water parks — 3 outdoor and 18 indoor, so the Dells rightfully considers itself the water park capital of the world. It's probably redundant to remind you, but this is yet another maximalist motto, of which I've cited plenty already.

Latvia - bike trip in Daugavas Loki

Just got back from a bike ride.

Rode almost to the exact same place as last year – along the highway towards Krāslava, past the Daugavas Loki nature park. This time I ventured further out – my goal was the village and lake of Tartaka. Along the way, I checked out bicycle trail N22. Why it has such a number, and where the previous ones are – I have no idea.
