EVE Online

I also play the MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role-playing game) EVE Online.  It takes place in space, and the player owns an interstellar vessel (or a hundred vessels). The game has one unique feature: 6,000 star systems and 25,000 players are all on a single server at the same time. As far as I know, there are no other games like it; in all the others, the game world is divided into parts (shards).  Plus excellent graphics (screenshots), fitting music, a sophisticated role-playing system, and a genuine space atmosphere.
One detail particularly delighted me. When you approach a jumpgate (a gate for jumping to another solar system), you see a huge screen right there in space. It displays advertisements (fortunately, not real ones), and something else as well: notices "Wanted for crimes against humanity" for pirate players, along with the reward paid to whoever kills the pirate. Details like these give games a devilish charm and realism. (Considering that anyone can add to the reward and anyone can claim it, it is all real, in fact).

Screenshot from the space MMORPG EVE Online: a spaceship makes a jump against a dark, starry sky. The game interface displays information about the route and the journey in progress, as well as a «WANTED» message on the ship's display.

I'm alive!

Yet a whole abyss of time has passed without a post appearing here. To justify myself and make others marvel, in clumsy rhyming verse, I'll write about a project new. "Radio Archive" is this idea's name, preserving radio is its calling. Lovers of new music, get ready to listen.  FM Dostoevsky and Muzprosvet bring the music lover's gospel to the masses. Previously hard to obtain, now available online.

;-(

Anywho, I've come down with pharyngitis again. On top of that, my family doctor is away. I had to ask the available doctor for a prescription to pop some heavy-caliber antibiotics, otherwise it'll all end in tracheobronchitis, like it has a couple of times already.

Shoutout to gugiens. The last time he was sick, I wrote a comment about our metaphysical kinship, but it didn't go through.

So in the end, jamming to some emo I snagged, which I finally got around to, I'm sitting here coding a tricky ASP.NET web page. I'll show the results in a couple of hours.
