The next day we finally set off on our planned trip, or rather, a boat ride. It cost 25 euros per person, and for this price we were supposed to be dropped off at "Desert Island", which turned out to be not so deserted, and on a second island, which was supposedly inhabited, but in fact was incredibly deserted. As often happens in human languages, backwards, everything reversed.
Portugal — 9, Praia da Marinha
Some of the participants in these events just informed me that I got everything mixed up, and we actually went to Loulé and Praia da Marinha on different days. This is surely true, but in ten years, who would've known how it really happened? A blog is an ephemeral, yet written piece of evidence, whereas human memory is so unreliable that it's laughable to count on it.
I got things mixed up because the cameras were set to different times, making it hard for me to sort the photos from here, hence the timeline issues.
Portugal — 7, a night outing and thoughts on friction
The young padawan really loves construction equipment. He just couldn't miss the chance to take a picture with a crane.
In Portugal, buildings are often peeling, but that only adds to their charm.
Portugal — 6, Fuseta Beach
It's been two weeks since we started traveling, and even with photos, I can't perfectly reconstruct the timeline. So this post will be a bit messy, and I'll be diluting the photos with all sorts of useful facts about the country.
We went for a walk along Fuseta beach to see what's what right here, nearby.
