Guardian of the Moon cartoon

We watched the French cartoon Guardian of the Moon, fresh stuff - from 2014, with the crew that's become traditional these days: a freelancer, a photographer, and a sleeping beauty. The plot goes like this: the sun and the moon are pulled across the sky on strings, and the process is managed by special comrades elected by the people — the Guardian of the Moon and the Guardian of the Sun. Just as the time came to elect new ones, everything went sideways.

The cartoon is excellent — the nature is psychedelic, the characters are fun, there's constant action, and it's drawn quite decently. As usual, since the film isn't American, it flew right past the masses, though there is a Russian dub anyway.

I recommend it to everyone.

I especially liked the old geezer Phospho and the little birds inside the Temple of the Moon.

A blue, glowing creature holding the moon, a large orange warrior with a spear, and a blonde with a telescope are presented against the backdrop of a bright, fantastical dawn landscape. At the bottom, the poster contains the title «Mune: Le Gardien de la Lune».

Haha, and I used to quote the joke about the goat and the rabbi. I don't agree with this, though, it's not the time of the toad at all right now.

The ancient Romans had an expression - "the time of the toad". If you complain that everything is disgusting, eat a live toad – it will instantly seem that before the toad, everything was much better. Now is the time of the toad.
