Here we are, at the most intense part of the narrative. Some of you have already heard snippets of our stories about this day, full of the most powerful and genuine emotions. Now readers will have a chance to piece the whole picture together into a single canvas in brown and gray tones.

In the last part, I left off when we departed the hospitable hydroelectric power station following a storm warning. The girls also mentioned that we'd come across a hotel or hostel on the way up the mountain, and we could wait out the bad weather there. The Germans, with whom we rode in one of the previous parts, did just that, because Marcus had fallen ill.
