Watched a MythBusters episode about a whirlpool, and at one point the host there said: “whirlpool is gaining momentum”. In Russian they'd probably say: “gaining revolutions”, and that would be a very fitting pun for the topic.
I'll combine the request from textfield and my sister to write some silly facts.

I made a soup following the first recipe I stumbled upon for which I had some of the ingredients. I must say, I partly share the careful attitude towards natural resources, and therefore I try not to throw food away unnecessarily. Without fanaticism, of course. It just so happened I had some sauerkraut, and so I decided to cook this kind of German shchi. By the way, different people understand the words shchi and borscht differently. To me, shchi is a soup made from sauerkraut. And borscht is a soup made from cabbage with beets. I love both.
Eintopf is a specific German dish, representing a thick soup with meat, smoked meats, sausages, or other meat products, which replaces a two-course lunch.
Ein is one, topf is a pot. So eintopf translates to "everything in one pot". They are especially good in winter.
