For the past month, I've often had this recurring high-pitched sound in my ears, and it appears at random—sometimes when I'm cycling home from work, sometimes right now while I'm sitting at the computer, sometimes when I'm walking through the neighbourhood to the supermarket.
It's incredibly annoying.
