Portuguese port is excellent! It’s called Cockburn's reserve special, 1 liter. It costs $20 here. The bottle is nice too.

I was searching online for something about Riga wine shops (since we don't have any), and came across an article.

Wine-2

And here's another really interesting  report about the Latvian wine market. It's old, but a lot of it still holds true.

For example, I personally don't buy Moldovan and Bulgarian wines, because it's sketchy: they're cheap and sweet.

I don't buy Georgian ones because who knows where they actually come from: Georgia is tiny, yet we have just as many of their wines on the shelves as French ones, banking on the nostalgia of those born in the USSR.
