Portuguese port is excellent! It’s called Cockburn's reserve special, 1 liter. It costs $20 here. The bottle is nice too.
Wine
Here's something funny.
I was searching online for something about Riga wine shops (since we don't have any), and came across an article.
https://www.vinaseta.lv/rus/pressa1.htm
And it praises something I myself really liked once! Namely, the relatively inexpensive South African Two Oceans.
Could it be that I actually know what's good and what's bad?
Wine-2
And here's another really interesting report about the Latvian wine market. It's old, but a lot of it still holds true.
For example, I personally don't buy Moldovan and Bulgarian wines, because it's sketchy: they're cheap and sweet.
I don't buy Georgian ones because who knows where they actually come from: Georgia is tiny, yet we have just as many of their wines on the shelves as French ones, banking on the nostalgia of those born in the USSR.
Miscellaneous
Heard the new album by Björk Guðmundsdóttir, and realized it's good.
Gonna get into it.
Bought a liter of Portuguese wine, brought it home, and realized it's port.
Gonna give it a taste.
